Volunteer
We are always in need of volunteers  to help with the daily operations of the Center. If you would like to assist domestic violence victims in Navarro and the surrounding counties please contact us today.

Volunteers are needed in the following disciplines:
  • Hotline Operators
  • Family Law Attorneys
  • Accountants/Financial Planners
  • Social Workers
  • Counselors
  • Contractors
  • Spanish Speaking Volunteers

Safe Visions Domestic Violence & Crisis Intervention Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the eradicaton of domestic violence and sexual abuse. We currently provide  information, referral, and emergency services to rural residents in the following counties: Anderson, Bosque, Cherokee, Fall, Freestone, Hill, Houston, Leon, Limestone, Madison, Navarro, and Robertson.

What is Domestic Violence?

Domestic violence and emotional abuse are behaviors used by one person in a relationship to
control the other. Partners may be married or not married; heterosexual, gay, or lesbian; living together, separated or dating.

Examples of Abuse:
  • Name calling or put downs
  • Keeping a partner from contacting their family or
  • friends
  • Withholding money
  • Stopping a partner from getting or keeping a job
  • Actual or threatened physical harm
  • Sexual assault
  • Stalking
  • Intimidation
