We are always in need of volunteers  to help with the daily operations of the Center. If you would like to assist domestic violence victims in Navarro and the surrounding counties please contact us today.

Mission

Safe Visions Domestic Violence and Crisis Intervention Center is dedicated to ending family violence and sexual abuse through safety, support, prevention, education, and social change.

Vision

The Vision of Safe Visions Domestic Violence and Crisis Intervention Center is to promote positive social change that will eradicate domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Goals
  • Educate the public about family violence and sexual abuse
  • Create safe environments for victims of family violence and sexual assault
  • Provide information and resources to victims
  • Promote change in the community
Purpose
  • To provide emergency assistance, support, and other critical services to adults and children impacted by domestic abuse, sexual abuse, stalking, and dating violence
  • To increase awareness through community education in order to create a supportive community
  • To provide information, referral, and emergency services to rural residents in the following counties: Anderson, Bosque, Cherokee, fall, Freestone, Hill, Houston, Leon, Limestone, Madison, Navarro, and Robertson
  • To eradicate domestic violence in the community

C Factors

Safe Visions Domestic Violence and Crisis Intervention Center will employ the C Factors to assist in meeting the mission, vision and goals of this organization. 

Communication: Recognizing that open and honest communication is a crucial element in the success of this center. The staff will make every effort to communicate effectively will clients, the board of directors, trustees, law enforcement officials, community leaders and each other.

Commitment: SVDVCIC will use a long-term approach and a real vision to learn, grow, develop, and improve processes and communication for the effective delivery of services to all clients.  

Collaboration: In order to move the SVDVCIC forward, program representatives will promote collaborative efforts with other agencies and organizations to better serve the facility and its clients.

Competition: The center’s representatives will review processes, retain knowledgeable and innovative staff, readjust its culture, recommit to excellence in customer service and recognize and embrace change. Representatives will also work towards innovative ways to promote a healthy, happy and safe family environment, promote community awareness and social change.
